Summary
Back to “A Long, Hard Fall” this morning. I think I was tired at the end of the day yesterday (5,000 words is a lot for me) and needed to clean up the plot a bit, and the climax got tossed and replaced. It’s a murder mystery, so the villain needs to have an understandable motivation, and it needed another little twist. I, honestly, couldn’t figure out the end and finally gave up and started writing and… you guessed it, the ending came and I got some amazing twists, but it got kinda out of control and is over 8,000 words long. Oops. Read it to Aleia, and boy does it twist around.
Cleaned up “Android Eve and Adam” a touch and sent it Dean. That’s 4 stories off in 4 days. With the length of “A Long, Hard Fall” that streak will probably end soon.
Heard back from Dean on story #2, “Daisy’s Heart.” He said very nice things about it, so perhaps something will come of this story. I’ll keep you posted.
