Not only is this the toughest, most personal case Conner has taken on to date, it’s the longest Conner Bright Mystery by far!
I love this story because it surprised me. A lot! I just had an idea for a fun opening and didn’t think it would turn into a 170 pages of twisty mystery with a large dash of romance that is really a story of betrayal and redemption. For me this is the fun in the way I write since I go along for the ride too. That’s right, I write mysteries like without knowing how it’s all going to turn out!
Chronologically, it takes place a few months after “Haunted by the Past”.
